Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of RiskNest, operated by RiskNest Pty Ltd (ABN 70 518 020 746). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
Reports are information, not advice
RiskNest reports are general information compiled from public and government datasets. They are not insurance, a financial product, or financial, legal, planning, or regulatory advice, and they are not a substitute for a professional inspection or qualified advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any report. Do not rely on a report as the sole basis for a property, insurance, or financial decision — always confirm with a qualified professional.
The service
RiskNest generates informational climate- and property-risk dossiers for Australian addresses by combining public and government datasets.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the service only if you are able to form a binding contract.
Purchasing reports
When you spend a credit you are purchasing a climate-risk report — a deliverable plus a licence to view, download, and keep a personal copy of it. Credits are the internal unit (1 credit = 1 report); re-viewing or downloading a report you have already purchased is free. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices and credit terms are shown at the point of purchase and may change. Our refund position, cooling-off window, and ACL consumer-guarantee rights are detailed in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Intellectual property
RiskNest retains all intellectual property rights in its assessment outputs, derived data, data models, and the knowledge graph it builds from property assessments. Purchasing a report gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use that report; it does not transfer any ownership of, or rights in, RiskNest’s underlying data, analytical outputs, or knowledge graph to you.
Acceptable use
You must not use RiskNest unlawfully, attempt to breach its security, scrape or bulk-extract data by automated means, or resell or redistribute reports without our written permission.
Availability and liability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and may be interrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RiskNest is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law; where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the service or refunding the amount you paid.
